First edition.  A posthumous compilation of Plath’s poetry, edited by her husband Ted Hughes, penned towards the end of the poet’s life.  Notable themes include motherhood and fertility, death; and isolation.  Raw natural imagery is used as a metaphor for emotional barrenness or renewal.
