Royal 8vo.; original royal blue linen-grained cloth blocked in blind and lettered in gilt to spine, top edges blue, in printed dustwrapper with large onlaid pictorial plate; pp. [vi], 7-165; with pictorial title-page, frontispiece and 14 additional fine double-mounted coloured plates protected by decorated tissue-guards and chapter-headings in line; a very good copy with slight shadowing to spine; internally fine throughout and crisp; in the unclipped pictorial jacket (10/6) with soiling to spine, chipping to ends, and light overall dusting and rubbing.
