Folio; publisher’s grained black pictorial boards, double-page pictorial endpapers in red, in original dustwrapper; pp. [48]; with full-page plates and text illustrations in monochrome heightened with red; externally very good indeed with a couple of light marks to upper cover, mild scratches to lower panel, a tiny bruise to bottom forecorner of upper cover and a child’s name “Sam” in black pen to upper panel, which noticeable in certain lights (see picture), internally clean throughout, though with a old inscription crossed through with blue ink to front free endpaper, presented in an uncommonly bright, clean, and whole example of the vulnerable unclipped dustwrapper (15s.) with very small nicking to head and a 5mm chip to heel; uncommon.
