Small square 4to.; publisher’s red cloth elaborately and pictorially gilt with gilt vignette to upper board, decorations and panelling in blind, map endpapers; illustrated with 16 fine and pretty mounted coloured plates by Arthur Rackham; a bright, clean copy with slight fading and marking to spine and a minor dint to fore-edge of upper cover; all plates in fine state.

Early Rackham edition of Barrie’s great classic, here with a reduced number of plates. The first edition of 1906 boasted the full complement of fifty mounted plates.
