2 charming original copperplate etchings set one above the other, on handmade ivory artist’s card, with untrimmed edges (card size 144 x 187mm; image sizes 65 x 100mm) depicting a tropical island scene featuring a tall palm with bird’s nest captured in its fronds against an idyllic landscape, above a smaller handcoloured etched artist’s insignia consisting of his monogram and the bird’s nest detail; both beautifully handcoloured by the artist, with the limitation number and the artist’s signature, both in pencil; in fine condition; very scarce.

First printing, number 20 of only 50 copies. These two images appear on the cover of Charles van Sandwyk’s book “Days Are A Dream”.
