4 original fairyland copperplate etchings, all printed in sepia, on laid ivory artist’s stock, with untrimmed edges (each circa 111 x 146mm, each image size circa 49 x 72mm) depicting a musical mouse with reed trumpet and florid feather hat; a scholarly Gnome with scrolls and quill pen sitting on an inkwell; a striding ladybird with long clay pipe and walking cane, and a fairyland creature with extravagant butterfly wings; each separate etching with “A.P.” (Artist’s Proof) in the artist’s hand and the artist’s signature, both in pencil, to the lower margins; in fine condition; very scarce.
