Small square 8vo.; publisher’s pictorial card covers printed in chromolithography with designs to both panels, silk cord ties; pp. [28]; with letterpress title-page and calendar pages throughout in red and grey, in cursive font; with 13 colour-printed plates,including a centre-spread of a croquet match; an excellent copy with light external soiling to covers and ties, internally uncommonly bright and vivid throughout, with a neat contemporary ink inscription to inner upper cover dated January 10th 1907.

First edition of the first of five consecutive annual calendars by this gifted illustrator. Her wooden peg dolls are shown suffering a winter flu; admiring a Valentine bouquet; dancing around a maypole; boating; shooting; braving fireworks and hovering under the mistletoe at Christmas.
