First edition, with the code 995 to lower cover. A scarce original shape book of the 1930s which takes the form of the pioneering English aviator Amy Johnson (1903-1941) dressed in her flying gear. She was the first woman to fly solo from London to Australia and set many long-distance records at the height of her fame.
