Manufacturer’s original card box (95 x 25mm) with onlaid printed label in blue and white to the lid containing the Houpette Pli powder puff in beautiful polished saffron yellow celluloid with Egyptian-inspired engraved patterning in black and tiny inset diamante studs, complete with screw lids to both compartments formed to house the cosmetic powder and the clever spring-loaded puff itself, fashioned from swan’s down, wires, and the golden yellow coloured leather; as new, never used, and in immaculate condition; a rare survival in fine condition in the box.
