First edition.  Ainslie’s account of the misadventures of the young girl Amelia Jane, owner of the Dutch doll, Catharine Susan, who features in the peg doll books by this artist.  

Here the child suffers a series of mishaps while stumbling through her morning routine, picking mushrooms, collecting eggs, feeding the ducks, bringing in the washing, etc.
