8vo.; publisher’s mid-blue cloth with onlaid spine label in crimson lettered and decorated in gilt, pink pictorial dustwrapper; pp. [vi], 7-119 + [i]; with pictorial chapter-headings throughout by Ardizzone; a near fine copy without inscription, save the usual vertical strip of offset-browning to endpapers, in a very good, unclipped dustwrapper (12s. 6d.) with abrasion to upper joint at head and heel, a tiny nick to top of spine, and a couple of small spots to the same.
