8vo.; original stone-coloured cloth blocked in dark green, top edges green, with pictorial map endpapers in green, in pictorial dustwrapper with wrap-around design by Charles Wood; pp. 255 + [i]; with vignette of Macbeth the Scottie to title but otherwise unillustrated; a near fine copy with a tiny knock to bottom forecorner of upper cover, internally fresh, without inscription, and only a few fox-spots to edges of book block, in a pleasing unclipped dustwrapper (10/6) with surface rubbing to upper panel, tiny nicking to spine ends, and some scuffing to spine.
